London Bridal Week Cancelled:

Wedding show organiser Foxglove Events has called a halt to the launch of its proposed plans to launch the first London bridal show.

The news comes a few months after the organiser postponed its second annual Modern Bride exhibition, scheduled at Excel London from 4 to 6 November 2011, until further notice.
London Bridal Week was due to launch at Excel London from 20 to 22 May and showcase bridalwear manufacturers and designers. Event director Sue Maddix confirmed the show’s postponement and attributed the decision to the economy.

“A number of exhibitors wanted to be involved and committed, but the general consensus was to postpone until 2013,” she told EN. “In this economy, we don’t feel there is an appetite for something new.”

See Exhibition News website for more details.

The Bridal Photographer
Of his favourite wedding, David says: “We had wind, rain, sunshine and pretty much everything else the weather could throw at us at this wedding. When the couple came out of the church it was so windy that even the strongest of confetti throwers could only get a tiny sprinkle of confetti on the couple, the rest was blowing back in our faces.” And the pictures still look magnificent!
