Balmoral Hotel

The luxurious Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh is a fantastic place to get wed, with its sumptuous suites, champagne receptions in the Bollinger Bar and Highland pipes for the reception – the Balmoral hotel always offers a great excuse for guests to sport a kilt!

Skibo Castle in Dornoch, in the Scottish Highlands, is also an incredibly romantic getaway for your big day. There is a lavish Edwardian Dining Room  and members get access to the entire estate – all 7,500 acres of it, plus a ceilidh for the reception.

Castle Rushen in the Isle of Man is one of the best preserved mediaeval fortresses in Europe and there are plenty of beautiful grounds for superb wedding photos!

The Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, is beautiful and includes features like an Italian Garden and an orangery. Receptions can be held in the Water Terrace as well as in the very elegant State Apartments.

Bailiffscourt Hotel and Spa in West Sussex was built in 1927 but harks back to a bygone age, with its solid oak panelling and four-poster beds. 

Leeds Castle, Kent – This was Henry VIII’s favourite place to get marrried.  It is an amazing fairytale venue for a wedding and features a moat and 500 acres of parkland.

Eltham Palace, London, with its 1930s mansion and medieval palace, surrounded by beautiful water gardens is perfect for a wedding and provides plenty of beautiful places for the all important bridal pics.

The Royal Pavilion, Brighton.

Brighton’s Royal Pavilion, Weddings are held in the Red Drawing Room and ictures can be taken in the gorgeous Regency Gardens.

Somerset’s Orchardleigh Estate is expensive but worth it, with an 18-hole golf course, fishing and horseriding available for wedding guests.

London’s Dorchester Hotel is the stuff that wedding dreams are made of, and its Mayfair setting means that the delights of the West End are never far away.
